World Refugee Day

Who is a refugee?

The 1951 Geneva Convention defines refugees as foreigners who were forced to leave their country of origin as a result of a well-founded fear of persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership of a particular social group, and who, because of these fears, are unable or unwilling to benefit from with the protection of your country.
